Ban Bang Bao - Koh Chang
Ban Bang Bao: This Village's fame depends upon its inexpensive accommodation and apptizing fresh seafood. SInce most people here are fishermen, this village is called Ban Pramong Bang Bao. It is the floating village connected to each other by wooden bridge. There are two kinds of accommodation, staying with villager (home stay) or resting in food shop. However ther former is more popular today, which costs 100-300 Baht per night. It also has groceries and souvenir shops (selling shrimp paste and dried seafood). Consequently, from these good points the number of Thai and foreign tourists is increasing every year.
How to get there: Ban Bang Bao Village is situated at the end of the road in fornt of the isalnd. It is enclosed by a mountain which beyond Had Kai Bae 10km. At present you can drive to this village on ne way concrete road or take a minibus form Dan Kao Pier.
